City of Norwich Aviation Museum, Norwich

The City of Norwich Aviation Museum is a volunteer-run museum established in 1977. Its collections include various aircraft such as a Vulcan bomber and a Nimrod, as well as links to local history and the RAF.

The museum, run by volunteers and a charity, is dedicated to the preservation of aviation history in Norfolk, England. The museum is located on the northern edge of Norwich International Airport and is accessible by road through the village of Horsham St Faith. The museum hosted its most recent exhibition in October 2020, when it received the EL-RJN. This aircraft is a 21 year old Avro RJ85.

The museum collects aircraft and memorabilia relating to the history of aviation in Norfolk. The collection includes a Vulcan bomber and some of the military and civilian aircraft that have flown from Norfolk airfields. Indoor displays recall the local presence of the US 8th Army Air Force. The RAF 100 Group Association collection is displayed in a special section dedicated to Bomber Command. Other displays include the history of RAF Horsham St Faith, the role of women in aviation and the heroes and pioneers who have made local aviation history.
