It seems that since 1832, on the inside of the Hotel Sacher of Vienna, situated on the side of the Theater of the Opera, the original recipe for the traditional Sacher Torte being jealously kept.  The Sacher Cafè is part of the famous hotel and every day hundreds of Sacher Torte and delicious Strudel are taken out of the oven of the pastry shop.  Following the traditional recipe passed down by generations, the pastry chefs continue to create extraordinary sweets with passion.

By yourself, or with a sprinkling of cream; still better if accompanied by a Viennese cappuccino, the Sacher Torte is considered the treat most exquisite of Vienna, and which place is best to try it, if not in the place of birth?
