The Desert Experience House, in the Palace garden is an opportunity to see plants and animals from desert and arid lands in their natural habitat. Thanks to the buildings design - a masonry wall on its north side and a single glazed wall on the south side. It was commissioned by Franz Josef I and completed in 1904 with a fin-de-siècle style iron framework.

It’s a truly unique experience in this part of the World, and a chance to see interesting plants and animals that you wouldn’t otherwise see.
