Pablo Echaurren. Baroque rhythm, Sforza-Cesarini Palace, Genzano di Roma: 18 June 2017-31 August 2022

The ‘Ritmo barocco’ exhibition is an artistic project by Pablo Echaurren, an eclectic genius of world renown, an all-round artist accustomed to expressing himself through painting, ceramics, illustration, comics, writing, music and video.

This year he'll be the guest artist of the 239th edition of the Traditional Infiorata, symbol-event of Rome.

Music is one of the many passions of the artist's life. To Ramones, punk group of the seventies, he dedicated books, canvases and collages, also telling them in a 2010 documentary.

In the universal language of music Echaurren finds the ideal humus to combine top and bottom, from paintings to posters, from collages to book covers and comics, from ceramics to tapestries and from video to writing.

The electric bass, the Baroque style and the art of ceramics: three apparently distinct elements that blend together and are on display until August 31 at Palazzo Sforza-Cesarini: Echaurren witnesses this tradition in the neo-baroque key that has always expressed in its forms and in its decorative repetitions.
