St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art, Glasgow

Built on the site of the medieval Bishops’ Castle, the museum is named after Glasgow’s patron saint who brought Christianity to Scotland in the 6th-century.

Admire the various displays, artefacts and artworks that explore the importance of religion in people’s lives through time and across the world. You can also enjoy talks and events at the museum, or simply relax in the café which opens out onto the first Zen garden in Britain.
