British Music Experience, Liverpool

The museum, which opened in 2009, tells the story of popular music from 1945 to the present day through a timeline. The collection is immersive, with access to a digital archive of tracks, images and films. You will also be able to see over 600 fabulous stage outfits, so don't miss out on this experience!

The British Music Experience tells the story of British music through costumes, instruments, performances and memorabilia - there's something for everyone! See the outfits worn by artists such as Freddie Mercury, Dusty Springfield, the Spice Girls, Adam Ant, as well as the musical instruments used by some of the world's most famous artists, from Noel Gallagher to the Sex Pistols. You can even join in the experience, learning to play a musical instrument in the Gibson Interactive Studio, which has the best musical equipment available, including electric guitars, drums and keyboards.

Don't worry, the museum has achieved “Good to Go” and “Safe Travels” accreditation for its coronavirus safety measures. Your admission ticket is now valid for 12 months, so come at any time of the year!
