Gone are the days when museums or art galleries had lifeless, overpriced cafeterias. The National Gallery has had the good sense to find a partner capable of matching its own standards.
Gone are the days when museums or art galleries had lifeless, overpriced cafeterias. The National Gallery has had the good sense to find a partner capable of matching its own standards. The decor is stylish and the best British ingredients, are used in ways that can make the British feel proud of their culinary inheritance and may even makes the French a little jealous.
In fact the food is so good that even if you don't want to go the gallery to look at the pictures, you can nip in here for a bite and the view.
There is a breakfast menu complete with exclusively baked fresh pastries and breads, muffins, Eggs Benedict, porridge, French toast, plus homemade preserves.
Lunch and dinner options include soups, salads, entrées and puddings. There are menus available, with some very interesting exhibition-themed dishes and prix fixe group menus.
