Enge Swimming Area Bar, Zurich

At first glance, this outdoor swimming area next to the Arboretum doesn’t really scream “all-year-activity”, but with a pool for Summer and sauna in Winter, it is just that.

Both the women only and mixed bathing pools adjoin the lake where you can swim while enjoying the breathtaking views, framed by the Alps in the horizon. Aside from swimming, you can unwind with a Shiatsu, a classic massage or  take part in a yoga course or even hire stand up paddling equipment.There is also a bar and BBQ if you get peckish.
