Mozart's Birthplace, Salzburg

In Salzburg, Mozart's hometown, it's possible to visit his own house, an exciting experience for all the classical music lovers.

The house in which Wolfgang Amadé Mozart was born on January 27, 1756 is now one of the most frequently visited museums in the world. No other place makes the person behind the artist and his music as palpable as his Birthplace. In the three-storey exhibition, the visitor learns details of Mozart’s life – the domestic circumstances in which he grew up, when he began to play music, who his friends and patrons were, his relationship with his family, his passion for opera, and much more.
