National Sea Life Centre, Birmingham

Brilliant fun for the whole family, here you really can walk on water as you experience the world from the eyes of a fish.

The National Sea Life Centre is the biggest in the UK, and this time it's not the fish in the tank but you! Walk along the world's first ever 360 degree tubular walkthrough tunnel over an ocean display six metres deep and come face to face with a real-life Jaws. Or maybe you're more interested in Claws? New for this year is a themed display about the hard nuts of the marine world, including giant Japanese spider crabs (shudder) and powerful mantis shrimps. If this all sounds a bit too daunting, then maybe you'd like to step back in time to the golden days of the Titanic. In this fantastic adventure, you can step aboard the world's most famous shipwreck and discover what really happened the night it sank. Go on, dive in.
