Whether you’re all galleried out, or just need an excuse for some fairy lights over dinner, the Gallery Mess is an oasis of calm and light.
Whether you’re all galleried out, or just need an excuse for some fairy lights over dinner, the Gallery Mess is an oasis of calm and light. Vaulted ceilings and brick arches rise over tables surrounded by blossoms. And the culture doesn’t end here, as the restaurant also provides hanging space for some of the Saatchi online artists. The high-walled al fresco terrace is perfect for lingering on summer evenings, and the food is provided by the renowned Rhubarb food design.
The Gallery Mess gastronomic offer includes sharing boards -cheese, charcuterie or seafood-, salads, soups, steaks and set menus (two courses for £19.50, three for £24.50). Afternoon tea and a variety of wines and cocktails are also available.
Divento recommends…
Classic beef tartare with toasted sourdough (£10.50) for starters, and pan roasted red gurnard, slow cooked broccoli stem with a bouillabaisse sauce (£16.00) as main course.
