Piazza Gae Aulenti is a trendy and modern square in the heart of Milan built in 2012. It is named after the Italian architect, Gaetana Aulenti, who constructed the Orsay Museum in Paris.
As an effort of a regeneration project, the circular piazza has pathways to a public park. There are unique sculptures and a flowing fountain which changes colors based on the season. The square is a very contemporary fit as nearby skyscrapers dominate the city.
The square is really modern and it has everything you would need. From restaurants to cafes to shops, visitors and the local Milanese love it!
