The Venus pool in Milazzo is a brackish lake that can be reached by a trekking path within the Capo Milazzo nature reserve.
It is possible to reach the place via two routes: the Ponente (which is often closed because of serious risk of landslides) or the one that passes through the Lighthouse, after the Belvedere square.
The place is accessible all year round, however, it's worth taking into account the weather conditions and the numerous stairs that wind towards your final destination. The Venus pool is at the very end of the Milazzo peninsula. It is possible to paddle in the pool as the water level is very low (about 30 cm). In order to swim it is necessary to go beyond the pool to reach the open sea.
Wear trekking shoes and take care crossing the large natural boulders on the way to the pool.
