This ancient mountain range has been historically important since the Bronze Age, separating the North from South, Leone from Cornouaille.
It is the largest area of heatherland in Brittany, stretching out as far as the eye can see. You can cycle or walk these infinite lands, enjoying the unspoiled views and varied vegetation. There are many themed routes to choose from, including stumbling upon a 17th-century chapel with a panoramic view of Lake Brennilis, entering the Huelgoat boulder field - previously inhabited by a giant, or climbing the summit of Mont Saint Michel de Brasparts.
