At 1,345 metres above sea level, Ben Nevis is King of the Munros and the highest peak in the British Isles. The walk is a challenge to keen hikers with rugged zig-zag paths up to the summit. At certain points, you can even rock climb. At the summit, there is evidence of Ben Nevis once being a volcano that exploded and caved in on itself millions of years ago.
