Coventry Transport Museum, Coventry

The museum has the largest collection of British-made road vehicles in public ownership.

It is located in Coventry because the city was once the centre of the British motor industry and the birthplace of the bicycle. It displays over 240 cars and commercial vehicles, with over 100 motorbikes and 200 bicycles.

Coventry Transport Museum houses the largest public collection of British vehicles in the world and tells the story of a city that changed the world through transport. Visitors can expect engaging displays, interactive galleries and highly immersive exhibitions. The 14 fully accessible galleries house the world's fastest vehicle, pioneering bicycles, transport champions and many of the most innovative, memorable and luxurious vehicles of the last 200 years. For those looking for more adventure, take a ride in The Blitz experience or enjoy a ride in one of the three 4D simulators. With an award-winning café, picnic areas throughout the museum and a great gift shop, enjoy a fantastic day out!
