National Motor Museum, Beaulieu

The National Motor Museum tells the history of motoring on the roads of Great Britain.

The collections comprise around 1.7 million items, with the majority of vehicles on display in the museum. There is also an onsite ‘Collections Centre’ with a large extent of the museum’s collections. It includes 285 vehicles, 48,000 objects, 1,185,000 photographic images, 300,000 archive items, 26,000 film, video and audio recordings and 300,000 items in the Reference Library, all of which relate to the motorcar, its development and social context. Collections in the Collections Centre are available to see by appointment only.
