The Holburne Museum, Bath

The collection includes ceramics, 18th and 19th-century paintings, as well as contemporary paintings.

Formerly known as the Holburne of Menstrie Museum, this was the city’s first public art gallery.

The museum has been in the former Sydney Hotel since 1916, surrounded by the only remaining 18th-century pleasure gardens in the country.
