A medieval castle overlooking the Italian village of Limatola.
The Normans built this medieval castle at the centre of Limatola in the 12th-century. Since then, it has been renovated many times, including by Charles I of Anjou in the 13th-century.
Don’t miss the 17th-century frescoes of the liberation of Jerusalem decorating the chapel.
Today the castle is used as a hotel and wedding venue. Every December you’ll find Limatola’s famous Christmas Market here.
