The Indro Montanelli Public Gardens are an important and historic park in the city of Milan.

They were formerly known as the Gardens of Porta Venezia or the Public Gardens but they were recently named after writer and journalist Indro Montanelli in 2002.

Since they were founded in 1784, they happen to be the oldest parks in the city. Within the park, visitors can find several attractions and monuments. Some important buildings are the Natural History Museum, the Ulrico Hoepli Planetarium, and the Padiglione del Caffé. There is also a statue of Indro Montanelli who used to spend quite an amount of time here.

If you’re looking for a tranquil place to escape the city, the Indro Montanelli Public Gardens are for you!
