Five miles from the French island of Sein, this western tip of France has been a retreat since the 19th-century.
Green plains and bundles of trees cover sections of pointed cliffs. You can sit amongst patches of moorland and heather or follow footpaths bordered by gorse. Out at sea are the preserved La Vieille and Ar Men lighthouses which become partially hidden by steep waves. Cycle tracks also provide panoramic views of the coastline and you can explore its landmarks by kayaking around its headland.
