Built between 1923-1930, this is the largest Lake made in Brittany and is surrounded by Brittany’s extensive evergreen forests.
You can water ski or go paddleboarding at Beau Rivage which is one of its numerous beaches. Alongside water sports, there are hiking routes with tours around the lake, whilst the Cornec Wood provides mountain bike routes. Don’t miss the medieval Bon-Repos Abbey and the Saint-Aignan Museum which shows you the scientific history of the lake and its use of electricity through its objects from the 20th-century.
