Farina Fragrance Museum, Cologne

Opposite the city hall, this fragrance museum opened in 1709, making it the oldest still-standing fragrance factory and is the home of the first Eau de Cologne.

The museum takes you through 300 years of perfume history, particularly focusing on the Eau de Cologne. You can even smell some samples and see the production methods of perfume through all its stages and how this has developed over time.
