Musée d'histoire naturelle de Lille

Its impressive breadth of collections - traversing both periods and continents - is unique to the region, and the museum itself is one of the oldest in France.

The Lille Natural History Museum was founded in 1822. Ethnographic and industrial collections have been gradually added to the original zoology and geology galleries, courtesy of the Musée Moillet and the old Musée Industriel et Commercial de Lille. The museum offers year-round exhibitions, workshops and events aimed at all ages, highlighting a rich and varied cultural heritage.
