The Archaeological Museum of Milan displays the history and development of Milan.
It is found in the old convent of the Monastero Maggiore and next to the church of San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore.
The museum is broken up into many sections. The first part is devoted to ancient Milan, Mediolanum, from the 4th century BC which attracts many curious visitors.
