Fotografiska, Stockholm

On the northern shore of Södermalm, Stockholm's hipster hub, is the world's largest photography museum.

The old brick former customs house of Fotografiska puts on up to four major and as many as 20 minor exhibitions every year, covering a broad spectrum of contemporary topics. Recently under the lens’s scrutinising gaze have been “Places Beyond”, “Generation Wealth” and “Nordic Life.”

Fotografiska’s photography is both curious and controversial in equal measure, revealing new ways of looking at the world around us and indeed ourselves.
