The Gothenburg Botanical Garden is one of the larger botanical gardens in Europe.
Be it whiling away the summer hours underneath the blossom or satisfying scientific curiosity in numerous greenhouses, as one of the largest in Europe, Gothenburg Botanical Garden is not lacking in natural wonder.
A nature reserve and an arboretum make up most of the site's 430 acres, while the smaller garden is where you will find roughly 16,000 species of plant and cultivar among trickling waterfalls and fountains, romantic woodland walks and lush green lawns.
Don’t miss the extremely rare Easter Island tree in the Greenhouses and keep an eye out for any future cultural or artistic exhibitions.
