Chiesa del Gesù Nuovo, Naples

A 16th-century church filled with baroque art and covered in 17th-century frescoes.

Originally a Palace of Sanseverino, Jesuits turned the building into a church in the 16th-century.

From the outside, you can admire its unusual façade decorated with pyramid-shaped stones. Once inside, gaze up to the ornate columns topped with vaulted ceilings covered with intricate frescoes, and take in the beautiful baroque paintings on the walls.
