A church built in the style of the Roman Pantheon found in the Piazza del Plebiscito.
Don’t miss this 19th-century neoclassical church, built as a copy of the Roman Pantheon, in the Piazza del Plebiscito. Originally erected as a palace for Napoleon, Ferdinand I finished it and made it into a church.
Standing outside, you can marvel at its columned portico and 53-metre high dome that are clearly imitating the Pantheon.
Go inside, and walk around looking at the many Corinthian columns and paintings that decorate it.
