Covering over 4528 square kilometres of diverse landscapes, Cairngorms is the UK’s largest and most varied national park. Spend the day hiking the extensive mountain ranges or gently ambling through meadows and grasslands. Surrounding the park are the spectacular horseshoe-shaped valleys of the Rivers Spey and Dee, from which you can take fantastic photos over the parkland.
Follow the valleys and you’ll find yourself soaking in the serenity of ancient woodlands, where you can spot some of the parks teeming wildlife. Numerous unspoilt villages can be found in the park, each offering their own individual wares. From whisky in Strathdon to guided walks across rolling glens in Glenlivet, there is so much for you to enjoy.
