Oxford Bus Museum, Woodstock

The museum tells the story of bus and coach travel around Oxfordshire over the last 130 years.

Some highlights of their collections include a preserved horse-drawn tram, motor buses, coaches and a wide selection of artefacts, such as bus stops, ticket machines, timetables, posters and staff uniforms. There are 40 historic buses and coaches, and even a replica of a City of Oxford Tramways Company tram. They have lots of photos for you to look at, which bring to life the diverse history of public transport through the ages. Since 2004, the museum has also been home to the Morris Motors Museum, which charts the story of how these classic British cars and commercial vehicles were produced at Cowley, just outside Oxford.
