This monastery, a little further out from the centre, is a fine example of Gothic architecture. As you walk around the stunning cloister, you cannot help but feel immensely calm in this tranquil setting, inhaling the aromas of the different trees and listening to the trickling of water in the fountain. The building has since been converted into a museum, housing collections from Barcelona’s History Museum, so make sure to learn about the history of this fascinating place and admire its beauty. Whilst you're here, you're also very close to Parc de l'Oreneta, a pretty woodland with picnic tables and a wonderful view of Barcelona.
