Fashion and Textile Museum, London: All Year

A museum exploraing the world of contemporary design through a wide range of exhibitions and temporary displays.

The Fashion and Textile Museum was founded by the designer Zandra Rhodes and holds a variety of temporary exhibitions showcasing contemporary fashion and textile design. The museum also runs creative workshops for anyone interested in textile design, at a variety of skill levels, as well as workshops for children and teenagers, including crochet, t-shirt painting, and fashion drawing. There are also courses on computer skills for fashion designers such as Photoshop and designing a website. The cutting-edge designers on display and the wealth of workshops and courses on offer really shows that this is a working museum both hosting and training upcoming fashion and textile designers.

There is also a museum shop, selling bespoke gifts from both upcoming and well-known designers, as well as a range of books and cards. Next door, you can also visit the museum café, which serves breakfast and lunches, cakes and light snacks.
