National Museum of the Royal Navy, Portsmouth

The museum showcases artefacts, objects and even entire ships from the past 350 years of the history of the Royal Navy.

is in Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard, and also runs guided harbour tours. There are many attractions to see within the museum, such as the Victory Gallery, Horrible Histories Pirates Exhibition and a waterbus service, as well as many historically significant ships to look at, such as the HMS Victory which is best known for her role in the Battle of Trafalgar, HMS Warrior which was launched in 1860 as Britain’s first iron-hulled, armoured battleship and the HMS M.33 which is one of the last surviving Royal Navy ships from the First World War.
