Mauer Park, Berlin

A public park that used to be part of the Berlin Wall.

Literally “Wall Park” these grounds used to be part of the ‘Death Strip’ that, along with the Berlin Wall, separated East from West Germany between 1961 and 1989.

Make sure you see the remaining 800 metres of the Berlin Wall running through the park. Check out the graffiti left by the locals. Or come on a Saturday to wander around the Flea Market with an eclectic range of stalls.
