Komische Oper Berlin

Berlin’s smallest opera house.

While this opera house is inconspicuous on the outside with its simple white walls, when you step inside its elaborate neo-baroque auditorium will dazzle you.

The original 19th-century building was badly damaged during the Second World War and rebuilt in 1966.

When it first opened, operettas were mostly staged here. Today, it also stages less traditional shows like The Wizard of Oz.
