The Museum's permanent exhibition, called "The Adventure of Thought", represents a journey through Western culture, from the Middle Ages to the present day.
It offers a different point of view to understand the museum, as it doesn't provide just an intellectual experience but also an emotional one.
The exhibition shows a decisive period of our society that began in the 18th century and helps explain our current way of living. It is full of ideas, contemporary art and new concepts of modernity. Fun fact: the permanent exhibition has no objects or explanatory texts. It is linked through new information technologies.
The museum building is one of the best examples of contemporary architecture by Sevillian architect Guillermo Vázquez Consuegra.
