A grill restaurant serving meat cooked traditionally in an old-style Castilian oven.
Verum is the Latin for "Truth" or "True", which must refer to the restaurant's desire to recover antiquated ways of cooking and authentic Andalusian flavours true to Málaga's culture. It is the only restaurant in Málaga that has a large, traditional Castilian oven, built by hand and fed exclusively with oak wood. This type of fire intensifies the aromas and flavours of the meat, resulting in extremely tasty, authentic dishes. The food is good value for money, the interior is rustic and the staff are smartly dressed and attentive. A very good find indeed for those that love a delicious, meaty meal.
