This trattoria is the perfect place for lunch and dinner if you're visiting the Santo Spirito Church on the beautiful  Piazza Santo Spirito. It's also an easy walk from the Palazzo Pitti  and is halfway between the Pitti and the Piazza del Carmine.

It looks  very small from the outside where there is a handful of tables on the terrace, but inside there are several rooms and one of them is air conditioned. The brightly painted tables and chairs give it a Bohemian atmosphere.

They have good local Tuscany food with a slight twist. Try the onion and pecorino starter: half an onion filled with cheese and cooked until caramelized. (€4-€7) It is also renowned for it's Florentine steaks which are priced by the kilo. Or try the stewed wild boar (€8-€15). Excellent service.
