Lal Qila is an Indian restaurant in the heart of the Old City Center – “Vieux Lyon”, which will let you discover the true flavours of India, in a typical environment decorated to the smallest detail. With typical colours and music from this far away culture, you will feel like you have been transported to a different country.
At the entrance, you will be welcomed by a nice Indian dressed in typical clothes, who will help you to find a table. As soon as you enter you will be surrounded by colours and pieces of furniture that will immediately bring you to the Orient. In the summer, the restaurant also has romantic outside seating.
You can order one of the various “set menus” (starter, main dish, and desert about € 28) or you can select your individual dish from the menu. There are many dishes with lamb, beef or chicken and also several vegetarian options. You can also choose the spice level of each dish. Be careful with your choice, because Indian Kari can be very treacherous. Do not forget to order the typical Indian bread “naan”, which you can find in many ways, such as with cheese or garlic.
The average cost per person is 18 euros. If you make a reservation through the food application, you can get a 20% discount.
