Located in the Old Lille, this beer palace offers about thirty draught beers that change regularly as well as a hundred bottled beers from all over the world. It was ranked several years ago among the best beer bars in the world!
Indeed, La Capsule has a worldwide reputation thanks to the website Ratebeer. It is currently 79th of the ranking, first French bar and is ahead of behemoths such as the Kulminator of Antwerp, the Moeder Lambic, the Mikkeler bar...
This bar is ideal for an evening with friends over a good beer or several. Don't hesitate to go early to get a table! The cellar may be open and we definitely recommend it: a typical Northern French cellar with vaulted ceiling and bricks.
In addition to a very interesting bottled beer menu with Abstrakt from Brewdog, XI.I from the Lancelot brewery... The choice of draught beers will really make the day (or night) of beer lovers. If you'd rather have something stronger, they have an extensive whisky list.
The place also serves food, so if you get hungry, order one of their planches.
