Rue de la Clef, Lille

This street is mentioned in medieval manuscripts dating back to 1066. Today it is lined with boutiques and cafes.

In 1793, after the French Revolution of 1789, it was renamed Rue Marat, before resuming its original name a few years later.

Beside the street’s sign there is a key-shaped mosaic, created by the Orléans street artist MifaMosa.
