It was built in 1496 by the designs of Giovanni Battagio. Since the church has been through many structural changes, it has many Renaissance and Baroque features. There are eight different chapels containing frescoes, shrines, and paintings often depicting biblical scenes. This beautifully decorated church is true highlight of Milan!
