The Natural History Museum, Paris

This fascinating museum has some excellent collections in five different galleries, each one of architectural interest.  They cover geography, mineralogy, palaeontology, and botany. There is also a live 'collection' of animals in the menagerie. They share the grounds of the Jardin des Plantes.

This museum consists of five galleries: the Gallery of Evolution; the Gallery of Mineralogy and Geology; the Gallery of Botany; the Gallery of Paleontology and Comparative Anatomy and the Laboratory of Entomology. . Its collection is housed on the site of the once Royal Botanical Gardens in five galleries: the Gallery of Evolution; the Gallery of Mineralogy and Geology; the Gallery of Botany; the Gallery of Paleontology and Comparative Anatomy and the Laboratory of Entomology. It shares grounds with the Jardin des Plantes and a combined visit is a must.
