Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art, Manchester

Based in Manchester, the centre is at the forefront of exploring contemporary Chinese culture in the UK. The Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art (CFCCA) aims to make contemporary Chinese art and visual culture accessible to all through a unique programme of exhibitions, film screenings, talks, performances and workshops.

It is a unique and intimate gallery that explores Chinese contemporary culture through exhibitions, events and residencies of socially engaged artists. It is one of Manchester's hidden cultural gems, located in the eclectic North End of the city.

The Centre boasts a 30 year history of 'first' solo exhibitions in the UK, featuring outstanding emerging artists who have gone on to international acclaim. A unique programme of events explores different aspects of the exhibitions.

The shop offers a range of East Asian themed jewellery, cards, prints, homewares and gifts, making the CFCCA a must for any visit to the Northern Quarter, whether you are looking for a cultural activity, discovering a new artist or buying a unique gift.

The centre is also a beautiful and unique venue to hire for a range of activities.
