At the kindermuseum, children can find out all about the everyday life of the people who have lived in the Schonbrunn Palace throughout its history - and they can even take on the roles of those people, too. There’s the option of a guided tour, during which children can ask all the questions they might have about life in the palace. Later, they get to become a resident for a while with lots of roles and costumes to choose from.

The museum focuses on the everyday life of the imperial family, responding to questions like how did they dress?, How was the imperial table set?, or How did they keep the place clean? 

You can also arrange a fancy dress birthday party, where the birthday boy or girl can dress up as an Emperor or Empress with all their friends dressed as courtiers.
