The Jerry Thomas Speakeasy bar, a place hidden in the alleys of Rome.
This hidden bar was one of “50 world’s best bars” for five years in a row. After eight years, and still going strong, this is the meetingpoint for bartenders where they share their passion for spirits and cocktails. The “Jerry” was the first italian secret bar and lays close to the Tiber and Piazza Navona. The bar itself is small and quite dark, which gives it an anonymous and mysterious vibe.
It has to be remembered that it still is a private club, which requires a password that can be found by searching on their webiste, and a membership which is organized at the door. Furthermore it is allowed to smoke inside, something that is good to know before you visit the bar. Bookings can be made by telephone Monday - Saturday.
