St Davids Cathedral, Haverfordwest

The monastic community was founded here by Saint David,  who died in 589. The community was attacked many times by raiders including the Vikings, but was noted as an important religious and intellectual centre.

The present cathedral was begun in 1181 but restoration work started in 1793.

There are at least three services said or sung per day, each week.
