Paola Pivi's "World Record" exhibition will be at the MAXXI museum in Rome during spring and summer 2019.
The Maxxi Museum is presenting Paola Pivi’s monographic exhibition "World Record". Pivi, born in 1971 in Milan and the winner of the Golden Lion at the Venice Biennale in 1999, is the first to have a monographic exhibition at the museum this season.
The exhibition, curated by Hou Hanru and Anne Palopoli, is an interactive project with both sculptures and installations which combines monumental works and photographic representations of animals. Pivis’ works come alive in different artistic contexts, and fits perfectly inside the walls of the museum. This site-specific show is something you do not want to miss.
