There are also works by renowned Romanian artists such as Theodore Aman, Gheorghe Tattarescu, and Constantin Brancuşi. The European side of the museum has an outstanding collection of French paintings including masterpieces by painters such as Poussin, Chardin, Ingres, David, Delacroix, Corot, Cézanne, Matisse, Picasso, and Braque, amassed by the Romanian Royal Family.
